First playoff game is Thursday June 28 at Lyons Park (Howard & Kostner), 6pm. Too many forfeits, too many league errors! Please come to all of the games. Don't let your teamates down! White Sox win, 15 - 8 May 22: We outscored the White Sox in the later innings, but we let too many of their player's get home in the first few innings. Still, it was a good game that we could have won with a few more hits. Emilee got a home run. Way to go! Liz pitched for the first time with a 12-inch ball and did very well, striking out 8 and walking 2. Chili Peppers Win! If they want to play with a slaughter rule, we like being on the giving end better! May 20: Thanks to outstanding pitching and hitting, the Chili Peppers were Red Hot! Outstanding 11- 0 victory over the Niles Angels. Chili Peppers Force Opposition to Beg for Slaughter Rule! May 13: It was 17-1...then we scored 7 runs in one inning to frighten our opposition into demanding that the umpire invoke the slaughter rule! Too bad! It would have been an interesting rest of the game! |
